Hawaii Continuing Education
Lynn Andrews’ 15th Annual
December 4 – December 7, 2013
Big Island of Hawaii
As nurses and therapists, a basic concern is spiritual well being and its affect on health. Integrative practitioners recognize the mind, body, spirit connection and believe that as these go out of balance, stress increases and may cause illness. Failure to manifest our dreams successfully gives us a feeling of being unfulfilled and that does cause stress. Today we are living faster lives and stress is perceived to be on the increase. This workshop will teach and demonstrate alternative methods of stress reduction. Course Objectives:
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Discuss meditation, representational art, ceremony, group activities, role playing and use of spiritual allies as tools for stress reduction.
2. Demonstrate an integrative healing practice that can be used for stress reduction.
