Below is the information on our Kindred Spirits Gathering for 2023. It will be held on Friday, September 15th through Sunday, September 17, 2023 evening. We will gather in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Orange Tree Resort. Please read the information below carefully.  A wonderful new adventure awaits us.

About The Orange Tree Resort

This resort is set against the picturesque backdrop of iconic Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

Orange Tree Resort features spacious one-bedroom resort suites that comfortably sleep up to four guests in 740 square feet. Whether you're traveling with extended family or a smaller party, you will appreciate the privacy of a separate bedroom with deluxe bedding and the economy of a kitchenette. Plus, unwind in the relaxing whirlpool tub or on your private patio or balcony underneath the desert stars.

Please book your room ASAP as the Orange Tree Resort does NOT hold a block of rooms.  The promotional rate is 20% off the best rate.  Right now the rooms are $159.20 per night per double room PLUS TAX (group rate which includes amenities*).  You may split the cost of the room if you share with a roommate. Please request a room with two queen beds if you intend to have a roommate.  Minimum two night stay is required.

Please either use the booking link provided or call the hotel direct to book your room to take advantage the group rate and amenities*.  Be sure to mention the Lynn Andrews Productions, the group code is KSGRP. Additional person(s) in a room, after two (no more 4 total), is $15.00 each, per night. The hotel will NOT charge your credit card at the time of the reservation.

Tax on the rooms:  All sleeping room rates are subject to Lodger’s Tax of and Gross Receipts Tax totaling 12.57% .  These taxes are subject to change without notice.

You are welcome to take advantage of these rates three (3) days before the event and three days after the event based on availability. You may also arrive on Thursday, September 14th in the afternoon and stay overnight at the Orange Tree Resort for an easy start on Friday.  Event begins on Friday, September 15th at 1:30 PM.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIME:  Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.  Check-out time is 10 AM.  (If you need to check in early contact the hotel and make a request).  

Orange Tree Resort is a non-smoking Hotel. Smoking is not allowed in any of the Hotel’s sleeping accommodations, meeting space, food and beverage outlets and public space.

Please note room rates do change based on supply and demand.


You may share the cost of the room if you share with a roommate (s). Please request a room with two queen beds if you intend to have a roommate. Only one person in a group that is sharing the room will use the booking link to book the room for the KS event.  Additional person(s) in a room, after two (no more 4 total), is $15.00 each, per night. 

Please make sure that the people you are sharing the room with know who is making the reservation.  *See Registration notes below for additional details.


Room Reservations must be received by the cut-off date of August 14, 2023 by 5:00 PM as the promotional rate will no longer apply. Please note if you wait until August to make reservations there may not be any rooms available.

A. Call Orange Tree Resort Reservation Department at Group Reservations Toll Free: 1-800-347-9092.  Please let them know you are with Lynn Andrews Productions to receive the special rate. The group code is KSGRP. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of arrival.

B. Make Online Reservations:

  • Group rate will be available three (3) days pre- and post- meeting dates, based on availability
  • Complimentary high-speed wireless internet access (via password) in guest rooms, meeting/event rooms and public areas of Hotel.



Food Costs are separate from room rate. All food costs are required to be collected up front by Lynn Andrews Productions before you arrive.  You may have all non catered meals in your room or at any of the many internationally famous restaurants within walking distance. 

Meals - $165 for buffet dinner on Friday, buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Chef can accommodate Vegan, Vegetarian and food allergies.


Travel Information:

You will need to arrange your own transportation from Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX) Airport to the hotel. There are shuttle services available from the Phoenix airport to Orange Tree Resort, 10601 N 56th St., Scottsdale, AZ, 85254.

PML (Peter Enos owner) 602-622-3031. He has shuttled folks to other Lynn Andrews events and around town for shopping and sightseeing, and comes personally recommended by many of us. You can call ahead and give him your flight information and he will be there in time to pick you up. He will tell you what color car he is in and is usually there within 5-10 minutes of your call.

Another option would be to Uber or rent a car at the Phoenix Airport and consider sharing the ride and cost with your fellow Apprentice or Kindred Spirit; you would need to coordinate this with each other. Either way, we want you to have enough time to arrive at the center, register, settle in, and be ready for this wonderful event!  It’s approximately a 1/2 hour drive from the airport to the Center.

What To Bring

We will be working on the land. We suggest you bring the following items:

  • Your personal pipe, tobacco and matches or lighter (remember it can be windy)
  • Altar items for your lodge altar (all items will go home with you)
  • Sacred Vision Oracle Cards
  • Drum and/or rattle
  • A talking stick (Each Lodge should have one)
  • Items for creating a sacred craft project: acrylic paints and brushes,  fabric glue, markers, other beads, little charms or trinkets that you may want to add to a box-based project.
  • Large Red cotton cloth to wrap your finished project
  • Notebook and writing tools

We will be in Scottsdale in September so it will be cold, dry and sunny! Historically, it is in the mid 40’s to mid 60's during the day, and in the mid 40’s at night. Please dress accordingly.

You should also bring:

  • Cushion or mat to sit and lie down on (you will be both inside and out)
  • Sunscreen, and Lip Protector
  • Flashlight; A Compass; Water bottle.
  • Hat, small carrying pack, sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Layered clothing as described above; Enclosed walking shoes and socks
  • A dress or skirt and a shawl with fringe for ceremony, any color; appropriate clothing for men for ceremony.

Please note: If there are additional items you need to bring, we will let you know by e-mail or through your Lodge Chief as we get closer to the event.

What Not To Bring

Please leave valuables at home. No pets are allowed. Please honor Lynn’s wishes not to tape record or photograph any of the sessions or ceremonies of the event. You may take personal photographs outside of the sessions, of course. Fires are not allowed on site without a permit. Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms. Please refrain from lighting  candles or incense in your room; battery powered tea lights are a nice substitute. You will have to pay air-cleaning of the room if you light materials in your room.

 If you are in Level 2 of the Kindred Spirits program: Please check with your Lodge Chief to see if you need anything specific for your Lodge work and altars.

  1. Be sure to fill out the online registration information.  Filling out the registration form lets us know you have received the registration information, and signed off on the event disclaimer.  This is required for insurance purposes.
  2.  If you need financial help with the event fee, please let us know.
  3. Mentors and Staff : Please fill out the registration form. You will pay for your room and food; your event fee is complementary as a thank you for your beautiful service to Lynn and the SisterhoodYou will use the Meals Only payment plan.
  4. All event fees and meal fees must be collected by the LAP Registrar.

  9. A double room means two people will share one room.  You can split the cost of the room.  You will handle these arrangements directly with the hotel when you check in.
  10. Anyone that is sharing a room, please place their name in the field named “roommate”.  We let the hotel know who is expected, just in case one of you arrives before the person that booked the room.
  11. If you do not have a roommate but wish to share a room, enter “please assign”.  We will assign a roommate for you.   If we are unable to locate a roommate for you or if your roommate is unable to attend, you will be responsible the cost of the room.
  12. Rooms are up to 4 people per room AND only one person should make the reservation for the room. The other 3 people are roommates.  Please make your reservation with the hotel right away if you intend to share the room with more than one other person.
  13. If you are attending the event, but not staying on site, please select "commuter".  
  14. Please list any food allergies you have.
  15. The Kindred Spirits event fee is $595*. 
  16. Meals - $165 for buffet dinner on Thursday, buffet lunch on Friday and Saturday.
  17. Event fee plus meals = $760.
  18. Please plan on having the 3 meals, as this is part of the contract terms we must agree to in order to have the event.  
  19. Payment Plans – We have two different payment plans below.  We request that you use a credit card  in order to take advantage of the recurring payment plan. Payment Plans are NOT available with PayPal. Please do not send anyone your credit card information via email or text.
  20. Payment Example:

Event Registration = $595
Meals - $165 for buffet dinner on Thursday, buffet lunch on Friday and Saturday.
Total Cost for KS Event = $760 

Payment Plans:

3 Pay $200 Deposit (paid with registration), $186.67 for three months.

Pay in Full: $760


All payments are due by August 10, 2023.

REMINDER:  Fires are not allowed on site without a permit. Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms. Please do not light candles, smudge, or use incense in any rooms, including the main meeting room. Candles in the main meeting room or otherwise on the grounds are handled only by Staff. We suggest battery powered tea lights as an appropriate substitute. There is a fee for air-cleaning of the room if you light any materials. 

Event Cancellation Policy: Event Fee Refund Policy: 60 days before the event if a cancellation is needed you will receive a full refund minus a $100 administration fee. No Refunds after July 19, 2023.
