Our Basic Schedule

For Mystery School Apprentices & Kindred Spirits Participants:

Wednesday, July 24: Arrive at Phoenix Airport then proceed to Chapel Rock by 5 pm to register. Dinner will be at 6:00 pm.   

Thursday, July 25:

8:00 am - Breakfast.  9:30 am - Meet and Greet.  11:00 am- First Year Apprentices meet with Lynn.  All other apprentices meet with Mentors for special teaching related to your year in the school. 12:00 pm - Lunch.  2:00 pm - Elk Pole Ceremony.

All Other Participants:

Thursday, July 25: Arrive at Phoenix Airport in time arrive at Chapel Rock by 10:00 am to check in. Or you may arrive Wednesday afternoon if you want a leisurely start to the event.

12:00 noon – Check-in and, receive Event Packet and have lunch. Please contact Kahndi, , in advance to order and pay for lunch on Thursday.

2:00 pm – Opening Ceremony, at the Elk Pole.

6:00 pm – Dinner (included on the day of your arrival).

Friday, July 26th: Second day of event – all day

Saturday, July 27th: Third day of event – all day

8:00 pm – Sacred Ceremony with Lynn

Sunday, July 27th: Fourth day of event – ends at noon - lunch included

 The Program

About Chapel Rock

Chapel Rock in Prescott Arizona

Being at Chapel Rock is a breath of fresh mountain air, with the scent of pines, a vista of massive boulders and nearby mountains, and a mild climate. A restful, rejuvenating setting.  Chapel Rock is situated on 20 acres of wooded land in Prescott, Arizona. Tall Ponderosa pine trees, oaks, elms, and beautiful outcroppings of rocks characterize the rolling landscape of the Center.


What to Bring

The Arizona desert in mid-July will be hot, with temperatures normally ranging from the 70’s at night to approx 90 degrees during the day. The rooms will be air conditioned, so have a light shawl or sweater for your shoulders. We will be working outside on the land as well. We suggest you bring the following items:

  • Power Deck Cards
  • Sacred Vision Oracle Cards
  • Drum and/or rattle
  • Items for creating a sacred craft project:
    • red cloth to wrap your finished project
    • acrylic paints and brushes, colors that are sacred and meaningful to you
    • needle and thread with colors you like
    • about 5 feet of leather thong or ribbon
    • any other craft supplies you might want for decorating your project.
  • A yard of your favorite colored ribbon for tying around the Elk Pole during Ceremony
  • Notebook and writing tools
  • Cushion or mat to sit and lie down on (you will be both inside and out)
  • Insect Repellent with DEET
  • Flashlight; A Compass; Water bottle or canteen
  • Hat, small carrying pack, sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Layered clothing as described above; Enclosed walking shoes and socks
  • Apparel appropriate for making you feel sacred for Ceremony such as a dress or skirt and a shawl with fringe for ceremony, any color
  • Your personal pipe, tobacco and matches or lighter (remember it is very windy)

Please note: If there are additional items you need to bring, we will let you know by e-mail as we get closer to the event.

What NOT to Bring

Please leave valuables at home. No pets are allowed. Please honor Lynn’s wishes not to tape record or photograph any of the sessions or ceremonies of the event. You may take personal photographs outside of the sessions, of course.

Fires are not allowed on site without a permit. Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms. Please refrain from lighting candles or incense in your room; battery powered tea lights are a nice substitute. You will have to pay for air-cleaning of the room  if you light materials in your room.



  1. Make your reservations as soon as possible to take advantage of the payment program.
  2. All reservations must be made no later than May 30th. 
  3. Single rooms are very limited and are assigned on a first-come basis.
  4. If you are sharing a room with someone, please place their name in the field named “Roommate.” If you do not have a roommate, but wish to share a room, enter “please assign”. We will assign a roommate to you if possible.
  5. ALL reservations must be made through Lynn Andrews’ Registrar; please do not call Chapel Rock to book your room.
  6. On the day you check-in, dinner is included if you check in by 6:00 pm. Room rates include three meals a day. On the day you check out, breakfast and lunch are included.
  7. Please let the LAP Registrar know in advance if you need additional meals. Breakfast: $11.00, Lunch:$13.00, Dinner: $15.00. Email Kahndi at Chapel Rock is unable to collect money directly from you.
  8. We need to know which meals (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and on what day you require them). Chapel Rock is unable to collect money directly from you.
  9. Payment Plans — Upon registering you will pay a $200 deposit.  The credit card you use for this transaction will be used to create a recurring payment plan.  (Please do NOT use PAYPAL for this transaction).  We will divide the remaining balance into two equal using the same card you used for the $200 deposit.  Example: You need to pay the Event Registration of $495.00 and want a DOUBLE room at $95.00 per night for 3 nights, Thursday through Saturday night (checking out on Sunday). That total is $780.00 minus the $200.00 deposit = $580.00. Divided by two,  $290 is due on April 30th, and $290 is due on May 15th, 2019. All payments must be received in full 45 days prior to the event.  
  10. REMINDER:  Fires are not allowed on site without a permit. Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms. Please do not light candles, smudge, or use incense in any rooms, including the main meeting room. Candles in the main meeting room or otherwise on the grounds are handled only by Staff. We suggest battery powered tea lights as an appropriate substitute. You will pay for air-cleaning of the room if you light any materials.
  11. Turn in your keys to the front desk by 10:30 am on the day of departure.  Keys to be placed in drop box near front office.
  12. Cancellation policy: to cancel your LODGING reservations prior to arrival, you must let the LAP Registrar know 30 days in advance. Otherwise, you will be invoiced for 50% of the entire stay.
  13. There are mandatory fields on the registration page. If you select “submit” at the end of the form and nothing happens, scroll up, using the scroll bar on the right side of the page. Any mandatory field that hasn’t been filled in will be highlighted. Complete each one, and then scroll down to the bottom and select “Submit.”  
  14. 2019 Spring Gathering Event Fee = $495 for the entire event. Your Lodging and Meals are an additional cost (see below). A $200 deposit is required when registering and is part of the Event Fee.
  15. Commuters will be charged $10.50 per day after they register.  You will receive an email requesting payment.  This is required by Chapel Rock.

Double Room Rate = $95.00 Per Person, 3 Nights =  $285 - ONLY DORM ROOMS ARE LEFT - you will pay the double room rate.

Extra Night Single Room Rate = $115.00 for Wednesday, July 24, 2019. 

On your registration form, you will be able to request your meal preference and whether you have any food allergies.

You will also be able to specify if you need or have a roommate.

If you will be commuting, meaning you will NOT require lodging but would like to have meals, please check that on your registration form. Please just pay the event fee and we will contact you separately for your meal plan.



Transportation to and from this event is your responsibility. There are shuttle services available from the Phoenix airport to Chapel Rock, 1131 Country Club Drive, Prescott, AZ 86303.

When event participants organize and schedule their shuttle ride together, in the same shuttle, only one $8.50 fee applies for that shuttle ride.  

Uber, Lyft and taxi services may be obtained between downtown Prescott and Chapel Rock. 

Another option would be to rent a car at the Phoenix Airport and consider sharing the ride and cost with your fellow event participants, you would need to coordinate this with each other. Either way, we want you to have enough time to arrive at Chapel Rock, register, settle in, and be ready for the Elk Pole Ceremony (see schedule above) it’s approximately a 2 hour drive from the airport to the Center. You can arrive on Wednesday if you prefer and stay overnight at Chapel Rock for the early start on Thursday.

Total Costs and Payments

DBL Room for 3 nights ($285) + Event Fee ($495),  = $780
DBL Room for 4 nights ($380) + Event Fee ($495),  = $875
SGL Room for 3 nights ($345) + Event Fee ($495), =  $840
SGL Room for 4 nights ($460) + Event Fee ($495),  = $955
If you use the payment plan, you will be charged $200 and then will be required to make the additional 2 payments as follows:
DBL Room - 3 nights ($780 - $200) = $580; 2 pmts of $290.00
DBL Room - 4 nights ($875 - $200) = $675; 2 pmts of $337.50
SGL Room - 3 nights ($840 - $200) = $640; 2 pmts of $320.00
SGL Room - 4 nights ($955 - $200) = $755; 2 pmts of $377.50


Refund Policy: 30 days before the event if a cancellation is needed, you will receive a full refund minus $200 deposit from the event fee only.  Lodging fees at this point are non refundable.
