We all have fear. It is intrinsic to our nature, and comes from our primal need for survival. But as we have evolved, we have learned to create new fears, and to hold onto fears that no longer serve us. That is a device used by the ego mind to control us, fearing that if it is not in control, it will die along with us.
It is so important that we face our fears head on and transform them. The Four Sacred Laws of the Painted Feather have been given to us for this very reason. As we search for truth, our own truth, these Laws will lead us around sacred wheels, guide us in bringing out our fears, place them in perspective, and uncover the truth behind those fears in order for us to dissolve them. As an Act of Power, we will each create our own Talking Stick, an ancient shamanic tool, as a part of the process of working with and transforming our fears. We will attach our own Painted Feather as a reminder of the power we have claimed and the truth we now live.
This Course is about helping you gain access to your inner voice of wisdom, personal truth and clarity. This course is going to help you stalk your own truth, and begin to feel more at home with your true self. Trust is a foundation on which we build our own spirit lodge. As you do this work, using the Sacred Wheels, following the meditations and creating your beautiful Talking Stick as an expression of this deep soul work, trust yourself that what you are feeling, discovering and transforming is real.
