The Event Venue
Montague Retreat Center is a hidden gem nestled on 34 acres of land in the upper Pioneer Valley.


Join us for our spring gathering on centering - a magical journey/ experience through sound vibrational healing, connecting to the land, creating sacred tools and honoring them, meditations and a celebration with a powerful fire ceremony.
This event will help you recognize that if we are centered within ourselves we can remain centered in the midst of all the changes around us. That just being present and gathering with others will bring us all to a higher vibration.

Basic Schedule

Day 1 Thursday, April 9, 2026 - Eastern Time Zone
- Check in 3:00 PM
- 4:30 PM depart for dinner.
- 7:00 PM Opening Session begins.
- 9:30 PM close circle.
Day 2 Friday, April 10, 2026
- 8:00 AM breakfast in the Cork room, bring your own goodies & beverages.
- 9:00 AM Session begins.
- Noon Lunch will be delivered, does not include beverage.
- 1:15 PM Session continues.
- 4:30 PM Prepare and go to dinner.
- 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM - Evening Session
Day 3 Saturday, April 11, 2026
- 8:00 AM breakfast in the Cork room, bring your own goodies & beverages.
- 9:00 AM Session begins.
- Noon Lunch will be delivered, bring your own goodies & beverages.
- 1:15 PM Session continues.
- 4:30 PM Prepare and depart for dinner.

Transportation Options to Montague Retreat Center, Montague, MA
- *If you are local, the easiest way to get there is by car.
- The nearest airport to Montague is Hartford, Bradley International Airport (BDL) Airport which is one hour away, 58 miles. Other nearby airports include Boston Logan Airport, 1 hour 51 minutes,100 miles away.
- We recommend that you rent a car.
HISTORICAL WEATHER
Cool to mild temperatures and a mix of sunshine and potential rain showers.
Ranging from the upper 50s°F to low 60s°F (approx. 14°C–17°C).
Average Low Temperatures: Ranging from the mid-30s°F to low 40s°F (approx. 2°C–5°C).
It is recommended to pack layers, including a warm jacket for cooler mornings and evenings, and rain gear. Recommend boots for the Hemlock Grove.
FIRE ELEMENT
As the evening winds down, settle under a blanket of stars at our fire pit.
ADVENTURE
Explore our land! Wander along beautifully mowed paths in the open
pastures, or venture into the hemlock forest for a more vigorous hike.
Meander down to the river.

What to Bring
We suggest you bring the following items:
- Power Deck Cards or Sacred Vision Oracle Cards
- Notebook and writing tools
- Please note: If there are any additional items you need to bring, we will let you know by e-mail as we get closer to the event.
What NOT to Bring
Please leave valuables at home. No pets are allowed. Please do not tape record or photograph any of the sessions or ceremonies of the event. You may take personal photographs outside of the sessions, of course.
Fires are not allowed in any of the rooms. Smoking is not permitted on site.

Robert Frost ADA - A large, shared area with three private bedrooms (queen beds) on the main level of the barn. Two shared full bathrooms with showers and an ADA compliant shower includes benches and handrails; also a large common area with two trundle day beds and a small dining table.
- Lodging: Thursday, April 9 - April 12, 2026. Prices includes one private queen bedroom, sales tax, accommodation tax, event fee for one person and lunch delivered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for one person. If you are sharing a queen bedroom, your guest will receive an invoice which includes event fee and lunch delivered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the additional person. We’re delighted to offer three private queen bedrooms for those who book early! These will be filled in the order that registrations are received. $1176
- If you are interested in sleeping on a trundle daybed in the large common area please indicate on the registration, we will contact you with a price.

- The final payment is due by 3/15/26.
- Refund Policy: A refund will be issued if the request is received by March 20, 2026. If a cancellation is needed, you will receive a refund minus $200.
- When filling out the registration form, there are mandatory fields on the registration page marked with an asterisk*. If you select “submit” at the end of the form and nothing happens, scroll up, using the scroll bar on the right side of the page. Any mandatory field that hasn’t been filled in will be highlighted. Complete each one, and then scroll down to the bottom and select “Submit.”

IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE FROM MONTAGUE RETREAT CENTER: Ripley Road is closed at the back entrance to our facility. Your GPS may try to direct you to that entrance. Please follow these directions to arrive to the front entrance, and look for our signs along North Leverett Road!:
1) From the NORTH: Don't turn left onto Ripley Road off Route 63. Instead, continue southbound on Route 63 for 0.8 miles and turn left onto North Leverett Road. Proceed for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left on West Chestnut Hill Road. Bear left onto Ripley Road and follow for 0.4 miles to arrive at the Barn at the Montague Retreat Center!
2) From the SOUTH and WEST: Ignore any direction advising you to turn left onto Spaulding Brook Road off North Leverett Road. Instead, continue eastbound on North Leverett Road for 0.1 miles, turn left onto West Chestnut Hill Road and left again onto Ripley Road.
- Breakfast: You can bring your own goodies for breakfast. There is a meeting space called the "Cork Room" that has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. The Upper Bend or Common Variety opens at 8:00 AM. and is 6 mins away. If you get there when they open and order to go, you can make it back in time for the opening session.
- You will receive a menu and provide us with your lunch choices 21 days before the event begins. Lunches will be delivered.
- Dinner you will be able to go off site together for dinner. There are several restaurants 20 minutes away. A list will be in your packet.
- Sleeping room check-in time is at Noon and checkout is at 2:00 PM EST on Sunday.
- Use of candles in any area is strictly prohibited. You may use "non flame" battery operated candles.
- NO SMOKING: Montague Retreat Center is a smoke free facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building or within 25 feet of the outside of the building.
Refund Policy for Event fee: Notification must be received no later than March 20, 2026. if a cancellation is needed, you will receive a refund minus $200 from the event fee only.
